Relais & Chateaux Gut Steinbach

“Where the soul finds its home” – following this motto, Relais & Châteaux Gut Steinbach welcomes guests to its sunny plateau spanning 50 hectares in the Chiemgau Alps. The estate has been carefully expanded and renewed and combines traditional values with modern comfort. The 50 individually designed rooms and suites, along with seven chalets, provide an ideal retreat – whether for families, sports enthusiasts, nature lovers, or conference guests.

A deep respect for nature shapes the entire concept: from the estate’s own certified organic farm to the consistently regional approach in the kitchen. At Restaurant Heimat, Chef Achim Hack creates authentic dishes using ingredients that are at least 80 percent sourced from within 80 kilometers of the estate.

Since December 2021, the Heimat & Natur SPA has enhanced the offering. Spanning 2,000 square meters, this light-filled space of peace and relaxation offers sweeping views over the lush green meadows and gentle hills of the Chiemgau region. A 16-meter indoor pool, three saunas, and a steam bath invite guests to linger, while cozy relaxation areas with a library and fireplace promise a restful break in the Bavarian Alps.
