The Kingdom of Bhutan is a land of legends and myths, characterized by breathtaking landscapes and Buddhist culture. Travelers marvel at magnificent monasteries clinging like birds’ nests to steep cliffs and are enchanted by religious festivals with colorful masks. Nestled among the snow-capped giants of the eastern Himalayas, this “Land of Happiness” is a fascinating destination that captivates not only through its pristine nature and cultural heritage but especially through the unique way of life of its inhabitants: Here, happiness is the measure of all things, with contentment and environmental protection firmly anchored in the constitution. For decades, the “Land of the Thunder Dragon” remained isolated from the outside world and thus remains today as authentic as few other countries. In Bhutan, the world’s first carbon-negative country, there is much to discover: from traditional craftsmanship to dishes with homemade cheese and spicy chilies, to breathtaking hikes and relaxing hot stone baths. Bhutan is a perfect destination for adventure and wellness seekers, for spiritual journeys and self-discovery. Travel is possible year-round, as Bhutan enjoys a mild climate throughout the year, even at higher altitudes.

with love,

September 2026

Stille Klöster hoch über den Tälern, Gebetsfahnen im Himalaya-Wind, Meditation und Glück als Staatsziel. So kennt man Bhutan.
